Are You Weary? Hold On to Those Promises

Have you ever gotten tired or weary while waiting for your promise? Being transparent—I have, on many occasions. But here’s what I’ve learned: when you realize weariness is creeping in, you don’t have to stay there.

Sometimes, you simply need help. There’s no shame in admitting that. In Exodus 17:12, Moses grew tired holding up his arms during the battle with the Amalekites. But Aaron and Hur came alongside him and held his arms steady until victory was won. God sent help in the middle of the battle.

That’s what the Holy Spirit does for us. When we’re weary in waiting, He strengthens us. When we feel weak, He sends help—sometimes through people, sometimes through His Word, and always through His presence.

There are seasons when holding on feels heavy, but don’t give up. Don’t quit. The promise is still alive. The same God who fulfilled His Word to Abraham, Joseph, and David will fulfill His promise to you.

So when doubt tries to whisper otherwise, lift your eyes and remind yourself: God cannot lie. His promises are still Yes and Amen. His timing is perfect, and His Word will come to pass.

Scripture-

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”— 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

Reflection:

✨ What promise have you been holding onto, even through weariness?

✨ Who has God placed around you to help lift your arms in the waiting?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for being faithful to every promise You’ve spoken over my life. When I grow weary, help me lean on Your strength and the help You send. Remind me that I’m not alone and that You are working even when I don’t see it. I choose to hold on to Your promise until it comes to pass. In Jesus’ name, amen.
