He is the More Than Able God

There are moments in life when the weight of our circumstances becomes so overwhelming that we forget everything God has already done. The diagnosis, the financial pressure, the broken relationships, the anxiety, the waiting, it all screams, “This is impossible.”

But impossible has never intimidated God.

The bigger the obstacle, the greater the opportunity for His glory to be revealed. Throughout Scripture, God consistently stepped into situations that looked beyond repair. He simply spoke, and creation came into existence. He turned water into wine. He touched lepers, and they were made whole. The blind received their sight. The deaf heard. The lame walked. The dead were raised.

This is the same God we serve today.

So why do we place limits on the One who has none?

Why do we believe He can save our souls but question whether He can restore our marriages? Why do we believe He created the universe but doubt that He can bring our prodigal children home? Why do we think cancer, mental anguish, addiction, bankruptcy, or years of brokenness are somehow too difficult for the God who simply spoke, and it was?

Some of us aren’t facing just one battle. It feels like everything is happening at once. Every direction you turn, another obstacle stands before you. It looks impossible.

But God has never asked us to measure our circumstances. He has asked us to measure His faithfulness.

When we remember what He has already done, our faith is strengthened for what He has yet to do. The same God who carried you before has not changed. His power has not diminished. His promises have not expired.

He is still more than able.

Today, don’t allow your circumstances to define God’s capability. Instead, allow God’s character to redefine your circumstances. The mountain before you is simply another opportunity for Him to display His glory.

Believe again.

Pray again.

Hope again.

Because the God of the impossible is still writing testimonies.

Reflection Question:

What impossible situation have you stopped believing God for, and what would change if you remembered that He is still more than able?

Prayer:

Father, forgive me for the moments I’ve allowed my circumstances to become bigger than my view of You. Remind me of Your faithfulness and all You have already done in my life. Strengthen my faith to believe again for the impossible. I surrender every diagnosis, every broken relationship, every financial burden, every anxious thought, and every prodigal into Your hands. Nothing is too hard for You. You are still the miracle-working God, and I choose to trust that You are more than able. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
