Things are changing on a consistent basis. Spring will be here soon, but many feel like winter is here to stay. So much doom and gloom going on right now, but God is saying, “It is only temporary. This season will come to an end.”
I am reminded of a song by the late gospel singer Rev. Timothy Wright, “I‘m so glad trouble don’t last always.” The tests and trials that you are enduring in this season will not last. As you look to Jesus, author and finisher of your faith, he is strengthening you even now to endure this test and come out better than when you started. James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.”
The Lord will crown you in His glory and his majesty as you go through each and every trial. Will you be perfect? No, but you are being perfected. Many are being transformed and transformation is a process that takes time.
He is transforming you and reshaping you into His image and likeness, but you must go through the process of purification. 2 Corinthians 7:1 states, “Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.” Purification brings transformation. Transformation is newness. Meaning, you are being made over. You are being changed from glory to glory.
Walk through the process with Jesus. It will be uncomfortable, but the end result will be glorious. This is your season. This is your season to shine and reap the benefits of your process. Get ready to reap a harvest. It is coming and it will be glorious.
Prayer~ Father, we bless you for you are walking with us during this season. There is a time of uncertainty upon us. We stand with you and we will not be shaken. Walking with you through this process gives us peace because we know that you are with us. Like the Jacob, we will hold on to you and we will not let go until we receive EVERYTHING that you have for us. No longer will we look at the things of yesterday and declare we are victims. No, we are VICTORIOUS in you Father. We are walking into our next season as VICTORS and not VICTIMS. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!!!
