Draw Near, Hear Clear
- Touching His Hem

There is something so beautiful about drawing near to God, not for what He gives, but simply to be with Him. Yet in that closeness, He cannot help but pour out more of Himself.
This week, I recognized that my gift of words of knowledge has increased. Not because I chased the gift, but because I pursued His presence. I intentionally set aside time to fast and pray, seeking clarity and divine strategy. In that place of surrender and intimacy, distractions were silenced, and His voice became clearer.
The more time I spend with Him, the more clearly I hear, the more deeply I discern, and the more confidently I can release what He is saying.
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
“To one there is given… the word of knowledge through the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:8)
“My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)
God is not withholding His gifts from you, He is inviting you closer.
When you dwell with Him, your spiritual senses are sharpened. What once felt distant becomes clear. What once felt uncertain becomes bold. His voice becomes familiar.
Draw near, not striving, not performing, but simply abiding. In that place, He will entrust you with more, because He can trust your heart with what He releases.
Stay close. There is more of Him He wants to reveal to you.
Reflective Questions
• Am I pursuing God for His presence, or for what He can give me?
• What distractions are pulling me away from intimate time with Him?
• How is God already speaking to me that I may be overlooking?
• Am I stewarding well what He has already given me?
Prayer
Father God, I thank You that You desire closeness with me. Teach me to seek Your presence above all else. Quiet every distraction and draw my heart deeper into intimacy with You. Sharpen my spiritual ears so I can hear Your voice clearly and steward every gift You release with humility and obedience. I surrender striving and choose to abide in You. Trust me with what You desire to pour out, and let my life bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
